It Only Takes a Plastic Spoon...
...to dig into this flaming red fried rice. A specialty of Makassar cuisine, it is chockfull of sausage/ngohiong slices, chiken breast bits and tiny CHUNKS of garlic..!! The texture of the rice is quite dry but the taste is prominently savoury with quite a strong sweet background.
Looking forward to sample more from the menu at Rumah Makan Pelangi at Wahid Hasyim, Menteng. This one I had to eat on the go. Heard the grill seafood is super, served with 3 kinds of fresh herby sambals. Next lunch...!!!! Sent from my BlackBerry®powered by Sinyal Kuat INDOSAT
